Jewish Spirituality Network
of Southwestern Ohio
The Jewish Spirituality Network of Southwestern Ohio (JSNSWO or JSN for short) is comprised of affiliated and unaffiliated Jews seeking an "experiential" approach to spirituality. Although members are generally liberal (non-orthodox) in their religious orientation, they study and put into practice a variety of teachings (including Kabbalistic and Hasidic) that promote inner transformation. The group meets monthly for sessions that often include teaching, music, dance, and meditation.
We currently meet at various locations around the area. We alternate the nights of the week we meet and occasionally plan a Sunday event. At each gathering, or iyyun, we discuss and explore traditional and "integrative" approaches to Jewish spirituality, including authentically Jewish forms of movement, dance, chanting and meditation.
There is a modest donation of $5 requested to cover miscellaneous expenses.
Every 4th Saturday of the month, we have services with the residents of Cedar Village. Please see the Calendar section for more information.
